Warm yourself up with this delicious hot chocolate recipe. The addition of Almond Butter gives it a wonderful nutty twist.
Cooking and prep – 5 minutes
800ml milk of choice
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp Smooth Almond Butter
½ tsp ground cinnamon
100ml fresh cream, whipped (optional)
20g chocolate, shaved
Put the milk, cocoa, sugar, nut butter and cinnamon in a blender and blitz until thoroughly mixed. Pour into a saucepan and heat until warm. Pour into mug, top with cream and chocolate shavings, and enjoy!
*This recipe was originally made using our Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Almond Butter, which we don't make any more. Any of our almond butters would work, depending on your preference!
