The Foundation's WebsiteB Corp
We've been a B Corp since 2019 making us certified 'good nuts'.
It’s not just a pretty logo. We have a better business way of doing things every day, in every way. That means ethical & responsible business practices, low impact supply chains, and telling you about all of it - even if you didn’t ask. We work hard to make sure Pip & Nut has a positive impact on people & the planet which is why we're so proud to show off our 'B'.
Every year we tell you about how our sustainability journey's going in our Impact Report. It's not just the good stuff, we share what didn't go so well & what we're doing to make it better.

We might talk about squirrels a lot, but it's the humans that make Pip & Nut.
We have some pretty good ones at The Nest, so it's important we treat them, and anyone around us, with respect.
Find out how how we do this by reading our Human Rights Policy.
Our Human Rights PolicyCarbon
We're carbon neutral! We've offset 100% of our carbon emissions since 2021.
Newsflash: it's quite rare for smaller businesses like ours to map their carbon footprint. But that hasn't stopped us. We're on a path to Net Zero in the next decade, which is why we're investing in some big reduction projects like the SAI Platform for peanuts (find out more here ).
While we're still on our journey, we've offset our carbon emissions by investing in relevant projects like the palm-oil fighting ‘Sumatra Merang Peatland Project' & the 'Manantiales Behr Wind Farm Project' which is increasing the amount of renewable energy in Argentina (where our peanuts are grown).

Life at The NestHackney Food Bank
A hunger-free Hackney, where everyone can afford to eat. That’s Hackney Foodbank's hope for our local borough.
We've been based in Hackney for a long time. Since Pip & Nut started we've been able to donate over 100,000 jars of peanut butter, or their financial equivalent, to Hackney Foodbank thanks to various initiatives.
In 2025 we formalised our charitable giving commitment by setting up The Pip & Nut Foundation. 10% of our profits go to The Foundation, who use that money to support organisations tackling hunger & loneliness in local communities.
