Got some leftover frozen berries in your freezer? Need to use up that punnet of raspberries? Why not use them to create some DIY jam to give a wholesome twist to the American classic, PB&J.
For two slices of sourdough bread simply pop a handful of frozen berries into a pan on a medium-high head, with a splash of water and bring to the boil, stirring occassionally until the berries have broken down and a thick compote is formed. For an extra boost of flaovur add some grated lemon zest!
Generously spread your choice of our peanut butter onto your toast/bread then complete with a thick layer of your homemade jam.
