Pip's PB&J
Got some leftover frozen berries in your freezer? Need to use up that punnet of raspberries? Why not use them to create some DIY jam to give a wholesome twist to the American classic, PB&J.

Peanut Butter

Ingredients
- Pip & Nut Peanut Butter

2 slices sourdough bread

Handful of frozen berries

Splash of water

Grated lemon zest (optional)
Method
Pop a handful of frozen berries into a pan on a medium-high heat with a splash of water and bring to the boil.
Stir occasionally until the berries have broken down and a thick compote is formed. Add grated lemon zest for extra flavour.
Toast the sourdough.
Generously spread your choice of Pip & Nut peanut butter onto the toast then top with a thick layer of the homemade jam.
