Peanut Butter and Jam Oats

Inspired by our limited edition collab with allplants, here's a recipe to bring some PB+J power to your breakfast. Pro tip: try different Pip & Nut butters as a topping and finish with a Chocolate Nut Butter Cup for extra deliciousness.

Peanut Butter

Ingredients

  • Base
  • 30g oats

  • 40ml milk of choice

  • 40ml water

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

  • Toppings
  • 1 tbsp Pip & Nut Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 50g frozen berries

  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup

  • Lemon juice

  • 15g fresh berries - halved

  • 2 bananas - sliced

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Method

Combine oats, milk and water in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook gently for 10-12 minutes until thick and creamy.

Stir in the salt and maple syrup if using.

Combine frozen berries, maple syrup and 40ml water in a small pan over medium heat. Simmer for 7-8 minutes until sauce-like.

Squeeze in lemon juice to taste.

Add oats to a bowl then top with stewed berries, fresh berries, banana slices, chia seeds and peanut butter.
